Casper

Casper is a beautiful 9-year-old KMSHA gelding inside and out! With a heart of gold and a ton of try. He is the first to greet you at the gate with cuddles & affection. Casper is 14.3hh and extremely well gaited. He has had a rough past resulting in cataracts in both eyes, but the right being much worse. Therefore, he has little to no peripheral vision. Despite this, he manages to amaze us every day. He is healthy otherwise and is great about most everything. He saddles, bridles, leads, loads & unloads, trailers well, stands for the farrier and has amazing barefoot feet, gets along with all horses and is just a gentle soul! Casper is timid when it comes to riding, for good reason, as he cannot see very well. He stands to mount and dismount when he trusts you and can vocally hear you coming and mounting. He rides easily but does spook on occasion when he cannot see what is going on. For this reason, Casper would do great with someone who understands his disability and will work with him on a regular basis or have a wonderful pasture companion that would love to work in the arena or round pen every so often! Casper has found a FOREVER home.
